ST. LOUIS — The City of St. Louis has officially completed the largest bond transaction in its municipal history, successfully pricing and selling approximately $460 million in Series 2026 Airport Revenue Bonds. This landmark financial undertaking marks a pivotal moment for the regional transportation hub as local officials position St. Louis Lambert International Airport for comprehensive modernization and long-term expansion.

The proceeds from the historic bond issuance will directly fund major capital improvements, including terminal renovations, concourse upgrades, airfield infrastructure enhancements, and modernized passenger amenities. City leaders and airport officials emphasized that the successful sale reflects strong investor confidence in the region's economic stability and future aviation demand, laying the groundwork for Lambert to remain a competitive commercial and cargo nexus in the Midwest.
